Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park is located in Ol Donyo Sabuk, Machakos County near Thika Town, 65 KM north of Nairobi. It is under the administration of Kenya Wildlife Service.
Ol Donyo Sabuk is a mountain with a peak height of 2,145 m above sea level and offers spectacular and clear views of Nairobi, Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding low lands.
The mountain is covered by montane forest.
Fourteen falls on the Athi River is also close which is protected and equipped with a picnic site. It is of religious significance to the local communities.

Many species of birds are also found here which include; sparrow weaver, African pled wagtail, Mourning dove, Augur buzzard, African hawk eagle, Sunbird, among others.
